Black Dress in the summer ?

I bought a dress and not thinking about it till now , is it bad to wear a black dress with a white ribbon to a dinner on a cruise ship ? I would wear silver flats with it . Do I have to wear summer colors when it%26#039;s summer ? Anything to liven it up . I also do have red shoes ? Any questions ? I%26#039;ll add details .

ohh; that sounds cute. but with pink shoes :DD and cute accsries. i think that would be fine.....but white is always good too. black is suitable for a cruiseship...thats absolutely fine! but pop it with the accesories.
